Refunds & Returns Policy

At AJ Appliances Ltd, we aim to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction. This policy sets out our approach to refunds and returns for appliance repair and installation services.

1. Callout Fees

• Callout fees are non-refundable once an engineer has attended your property, even if you choose not to proceed with the repair.

• If you cancel a booking with at least 24 hours’ notice, any callout charge (if prepaid) will be refunded in full.

2. Labour Charges

• Labour charges are only payable once work has been carried out.

• If an appliance cannot be repaired due to parts being unavailable or discontinued, only the callout fee (if applicable) will be charged.

• Refunds will not be issued for completed repair work unless covered under our repair guarantee.

3. Parts & Replacements

• All replacement parts are ordered specifically for your appliance and are non-refundable once fitted.

• If a part is faulty or fails within the warranty period, we will replace it free of charge.

• Manufacturer warranties apply where provided.

4. Repairs Guarantee

• All repair work comes with a [insert duration, e.g. 3-month] workmanship guarantee.

• This guarantee covers the specific fault repaired, but does not cover:

  • Misuse or accidental damage

  • Unrelated appliance faults

  • General wear and tear

5. Installation Services

• Installation fees are non-refundable once the service has been carried out.

• If installation cannot be completed due to incorrect measurements, unsafe conditions, or inaccurate information provided by the customer, the fee remains payable.

6. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us within 7 days of the service:

Each case will be reviewed individually, and refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days if approved.
